¿Quiénes somos?
Amy
Spanish Teacher
Amy was born in the U.S. and started studying Spanish in high school. In college she studied in Spain and eventually earned a Master’s of Arts in Teaching Spanish Language and Literature and her National Board Certification in teaching Spanish.
Amy has been married to her husband (Yureni’s uncle!) who was born and raised in Mexico for nearly 20 years, which is about the same amount of time she has been teaching Spanish!
Amy is a native speaker of English and knows how fun it can be to learn Spanish. She believes that language learning is an incredible journey that is worth the effort!

Native Spanish Speaker
Yureni was born in Mexico and has spent most of her life there. She learned English as her second language while studying in the US and living with her aunt, Amy! Yureni brings beautiful pronunciation and vocabulary that native speakers use in Mexico to the podcast!
In addition, as an English language learner, Yureni knows firsthand the challenges of learning another language, and she will share some of the strategies that have worked for her!
Yureni has a degree in business administration and is currently residing in the U.S. with her family.
